Last Sunday, I was happy and joyfully hopping back home from church. Although I came back so late,, later than 1:30 P.M while I went to the 10:00 mass, I was so glad that I got accepted as one of the lectors. I am just excited to perform my first reading but that would be after my installation as a lector on the 9th of this month.

I want to share with you the happy moments as I got back home and the nearby views. I just walk to the church every Sunday and I have my time to enjoy when I walk back home: NOT when I come because I am always almost late... and this attitude must change or I will be late for my readings in the future- ^^
I always love to pass by and look around this place...

Hey congrats on getting accepted as a lector. Have you decided what you will speak?
Is that a picture of a canal or small pond? Is it a recent photo? I thought it would look more like winter at this time of the year in the Netherlands.I live next to the Hudson River in upstate New York.

Yes, that was last Sunday (October 19). There is no snow here as it is so wet to stay I guess. I am still watching till February or March if the snow would come because my friends here tell that snow here is rare as the rain dissolves them
It looks summer with the sun but believe me, it is deadly chilly!

What do you do as a lector? Do you have to do a sermon like homily? sowi, dont have any idea hehehe.. Salute you for your charity works..
