Better Late Than Never

I have been full of activities lately and I wanted to post a lot of photo blogs. However, the series of events has been eating my time out. I have been out most of the time, or I was working (although part-time), or I process a lot of documents or I am out in the park, or sleeping or I was working for my traffic....which means, dropping ECs, stumbling and be stumbled and stuffs like that.
pleasant day in the neighboring park, park, ducks, pleasant day
One of the pleasant days, where the ducks and other water swimming creatues enjoy. We humans, enjoy this kind of weather as well...

This means that my photograpic posts have been piled up. This is because I have to upload to some free hosting for photos and just link it to my blog to make it run faster. I actually do it now for 3 of my blogs so I don't suffer the delays in loading the pages.

So what I have been to lately? What are the happenings around? The images I post here happened 2-3 weekends before the date today (when this post was made). Come and we'll explore some stuffs together.

Discover Philippines: This Makes Me Sad!

See this beautiful video. I have to say it is very beautiful but there is something burning me as I see it. My fellows who know this blog would know what I mean. Philippines is beautiful, it is my country and I do hope Filipinos would realize it and would protect it, physically, culturally and in any way. See the video, click the title or...

A Cool, Sunny and Fun Weekend

This time of the year where I stay is quite busy. That is reasonable for a lot of reasons. Opening back of classes and the start of fall )good bye summer!), the various monarchial and parliamentary activities and stuffs like that. I was really trying to get some good going around this area last weekend while the sun is still peeking out of the heavens from time to time.

Feet hanging from the rides... take a closer look...

This whole weekend story means knowing more of the vicinity, trying to figure out the location of the Queen's palace, the garden and stable, the activities and all that. One thing about this place that I find so good is the "sticking to the agenda" attitude. Activities and events are pre-planned as well as strictly marked in the calendars and timetables making them difficult to be forgotten. IActivities and events are as well listed online or distributed using flyers and little brochures found at the library which is just few walks away from where I stay.

The view while I sat and wait for someone special...

I actually sat just few meters away from the central station...

Of course, as you see from the displays, taking photos is a big part of my plan. I try to collect all of them because having a real photo album is quite difficult thse days and keeping these photos online are such a good idea. I just hope though that online life and activities would never go obsolete and so these photos would still be available in a longer period of time.

Some show around that i don't have any idea what..

Folks were watching so I joined the group of watchers, photo takers and video "ers"...

That was my last weekend. Going around, stumbling into some parties/activities going around the area and seeing more places that are worth seeing around. The parks and gardens here are such a good place to hang out. This would be my happy week before a daily work schedule starts and so I try to enjoy my time to the fullest. So long for now then and until I share you another stuffs going on around or just going on around my head and thoughts.

The funny actors/demonstrators....

Look! There's a horse there!.

Happy blogging everyone!

Will just share the rest of the photos here...

That is the Royal Palace in the background.

I don't have any pale idea what this giant "something" depicts!.

It seems taller than the building in this angle..Look!

Take a bow! Yeah, take some bows!

Smoke Free, SHitFul!

The Royal Palace again of the Hague/ Netherlands.

I still have more photos that day from gardens to the royal stables but no more space and time in here so till the next time Buddies.

It's Not the Looks! It's the Taste... Try It!

Wondering why I gave that title? It is because I saw the photographs of the pasta menu I am posting now and the images actually donot seem that appealing to the eyes. It is actually another pasta dish to share with you. In fact, aside from the PPP I posted before, this is can be said to be my second favorite. I just like to have a little challenge in the taste of food. I mean, I love them strong. And when I mean strong, it is either bitter, sour or hot and spicy.

The ingredients... spaghetti, chili, salt, tuna, lemon, (onion and chili are optional but onion makes the smell better since it is tuna)..

First things first though. Spaghetti, as everyone or the many know it, is not the reddish thing you see with tomato paste/conserve/sauce or whatever you use. Spaghetti is a kind of pasta.. yes, that ling stick of pasta. In fact different shapes of pasta has different names and spaghetti is just one of the very many types. Spaghetti is the first name and Pasta is the second name. Relatives of spaghetti with other Italian last name, Pasta, are Fussili, Maltagliati, Macaroni, etc. You ever wonder why they end in letter "i"? That is to denote being plural.

The tuna, sauteeing in oil with onion and chili ( i think i missed the onion this time though.. i don't use onion when I have to go out after eating due to the smell that stays for quite some time)

Don't blame yourself about Spaghetti notion. I used to have the same notion before I livved in Italy. So now that I am sharing with you one Spaghetti dish, you must not think anything red, for nothing is red here in what I am going to share with you.It is actually a dish we oftentimes prepare if we are in a hurry. Around 10 minutes and it's up. The only slow part is the boiling of the spaghetti actually, which is quite lnger than the other "not so solid formed" pasta such as macaroni and the rest.

Spicing up the life...

It's boiling time

Going back to the dish, it is spaghetti with tuna in lemon sauce. Spaghetti con Tona. The process is actually very simple.

1. Boil the spaghetti by letting the water boil first then put salt and spaghetti.

2. Prepare the tuna by fauteeing it in onion and olive oil (oil is substitutable) and add some chili (if you are like me who loves hottie n spicy foods).

Squeezing lemon on it...

Boiling...boiling...

3. Squeeze a lemon or half depending on the amount and your preference and just stir a little more.

4. When the spaghetti is already al dente, mix the two. You can add more chili or lemon when you are mixing the two together to suit your taste.

Al dente (to the tooth) check...

It's gonna be ready soon...

That was it! You are off ready to eat. The practicality of using the sour lemon with tuna is to remove the fishy taste n smell aside from giving the flavor. SO here it is today, another pasta dish shared with ou. If you want more with photographs as well, you may also click the following links:

This is the seventh edit to this post and I have to add the tag from Lynn called "Shot on the Spot". Honestly, I read her instructions while I woke up naked due to over-heated room and since it was instructed that I must do nothing, I did something with my laptop camera instead of doing "something" to myself... Moreover, this is my birthday month of December (already finished) and that explains the theme of having the BD cakes. So just tag around... watch out YOU, who I want to see the faces....
