Glasses Glasses! Beat the Windy and Icy Cold Bikey PathWays

Obviously, it is getting colder here in Europe. In fact today, we just went to buy some groceries and the snow were falling down as the maximum temperature for the day was 0 degree Centigrade. But to be honest? I have noticed that the weather is better with snow. When it is snowing, the wind is not as strong compared to the normal daily weather here, that is both cold and windy. When there is snow, it seems more humid and thus, I can tell that it is a bit advantageous. And of course, snow is beautiful as they fall down the ground from up above.

glasses, cheap glasses, fashion glasses, cheap glasses, affordable eye glasses, glasses for less, winter wear, eye protection

Despite this season, I still want to go biking outside since it is pretty flat here in Netherlands ("low land") and everyone is on bike. It is a great alternative transportation means here but I am worried for my eyes. I watched around and see if I could have some glasses to protect my eyes and for my ears I need some ear muffs.

And guess what? I found the perfect eyeglasses that I have been looking for quite sometime. It is plain and transparent crystal pair of glasses and it serves the purpose perfectly: to fend off the cold, wind, smoke, and dust. See the image and you will agree with me. I actually found it here at Optical4Less. Although this one costs USD 29.00, other glasses are at USD15 only. Indeed for less, affordable and cheap, right?

The good thing about it is the fact that it is adjustable. I hope to have it soon. If you wanna know more what else are available at the site, do not hesitate to look at it. But I want to tell you you can check the site out for (1) Complete prescription eyeglasses which I learned that they include Anti-reflective coating for free; (2) Tinted sunglasses; (3) Bifocal reading glasses; (4) Progressive reading eyeglasses; and/or (5) Photochromic sunglasses.

Moreover, the site has various special features that are very useful to consumers and customers like me, especially that I am far away. These include: (1) Virtual try-on system; (2) Free worldwide shipping (if order is more than 1 pair); (3) Trendy,Fashion,Stylish frames that really make me wanna have some pairs; (4) Fast deliver speed (Glasses arrive within a week); and (5) They have "happy customers" who are obviously glad sharing their experiences at this url: http://www.optical4less.com/testimonial.htm.

Maybe it is better to have two pairs and get free shipping... hmm, the best deal of course! I think I will take mine and for someone important to me. I am so glad to have discovered this website.

Here Comes the Fun Circus Night

Before I forget to post here, as a continuation of my post on Reserved Circus Tickets, this time, the real fun is here. What I have had in that circus. Aside from the obvious fun, I will of course share some photos with you all.

As we approached the place, right after the bike accident I mentioned...

However, as we walk to see the circus that night, we encountered an accident in the street. Not for us but for two bikers who hit each other. That was awful... I did not know if we were the cause of that cycle accident but it was a real life circus before we even saw the directed circus. Anyway, just bear with the quality of the hotos as it was not really allowed to take those photos, thus, I turned off the flash and just pretend I was not taking... Wellllll......

I Was Bought!

I feel so funny appearing in video for the first time. It looks so bad, I looked rediculous and well, does not know how to act and make a more creative video than that!

Who can blame me? It is my first time as I did not have any plans in showing my face and aura online, or else, my readers in this blog would be turned off knowing that my personality is not that serious as it seems in my blog posts. But anyway, though I act NOT so seriously, I know what is right and not for me and for the majority, thus the rants in that blog.
I am hoping that the video I have put in here would be approved together with the post as I got that opportunity to be able to earn USD50 for it. I am crossing my finges because my lifeframe was not working so good so I got all the noisy background and so poor quality video.

But at least, to those who want to see me personally, just see my video as I referred above. That is my real personality, somewhat crazy. I know! ^^

This was the original video I made for the USD50 opportunity.. Since I misunderstood the duration, I just post it here if my readers wanna have a feel of who am I.

Why Not Try Debt Consolidation? It Can Be the Solution!

Do you have credit cards? You are so much into debt?

Ah, credit cards? I actually use debit cards at present to control my expenses. At least I spend what I have and not be buried on debts. I am really very very afraid to be into a situation full of heavy credit card debt. I have to tell however that the problem with these debit cards however, include some limitations. Not all accept them, unlike credit cards. For flexibility reasons, I may have one of these credit cards, with my name on it, in the near future. My debit card include no name in it at all and anyone can actually use it, except for the fact that I have signature in it.

The Japs Are Cool and I Do Love Eating Jappy Food

Are you expecting an update after the circus tickets have been reserved? I think that would come after this post because at the moment, I still need to sort out the photos that were NOT taken "SO BADLY" because it was dark and it was NOT allowed to take photos while they perform. Thus, I tried to hide my flashing camera.

restaurant, japanese cooking, japanese restaurant, furusato restaurant, rijswijk restaurant, the hague restaurant, the hague japanese restaurant, rijswijk japanese restaurant, diningWe are arounf that grill where that resto guy cooks almost all that we ate... it was a good cooking performance.

The other week, we need to have our lunch in a Japanese place. It is called Furusato Restaurant located at the front of Rijswijk station (the Hague, Netherlands), two stations (tram) away from my office. It was a great experience to eat completely in a Japanese manner. I mean, I have eaten Japanese food and stuffs but it was the first time I did completely indulge... Literally, in ALL! Why do I say that? Consider the following:

1. I have never used chopsticks in public. I used it alone to practice at home or when I eat noodly stuffs. That day, I used the sticks in all my food, in all arouund (more or less) 9 batches of them! Wow! And that was in public, together with all my colleagues. That was cool.

2. Of course all of us had to waer that apron/biblike thingy that they put on their customers to be obviously not be stained with any wetty thing from the food. I had that bib too!

restaurant, japanese cooking, japanese restaurant, furusato restaurant, rijswijk restaurant, the hague restaurant, the hague japanese restaurant, rijswijk japanese restaurant, dining, eating, restaurants
Now he's grilling mushroom and salmon... yummy tummy, even the smell...

3. I ate all the way to finish. I remembered it was more or less 9 batches of servings and I have to say it was too much but well, every serving is another more interesting thing and that what made us all go on and eat and eat! The sushi came first, the soup, the salads, the grilled salmon, the rice mix, the grilled beef, the sprout beans, the this and the that that I don't remember anymore. I ate almost all, except the sprouted beans and the soup because they don't appeal to me. That was a tasty meal. And even the mixed and stir fried rice, I ate all with sticks Aha!

One thing I do like in that setup in Japanese Resto? All were cooked in front of us. They showed all, cooking, preparation and serving of those food we ate. It is nice to see them in action how the food was and how they are served and of course, to see everyone munching on them.

Oner thing I do not like? Naturally, it was cooked in front of us. the chef looks interesting with the live performance...BUT, when we went out, we ALL SMELLED LIKE FISH!

I like the food, I love the praparation. In total, I was so happy and full. That was my second day of work. It was a great start. We ate each one for a €35 serving. But that was paid NOT by us, and that is the most exciting part of the event. Domo Arigatoh!

What is this 5.11 Jacket Thingy?

I read about somewhere a word called 5.11 Jacket I have been wondering what it was about. Later, I discovered from http://www.lapolicegear.com that this is some kind of special jacket or gear that gives safety and ease at the wearer.

5.11 tactical jacket, police gear, lapolicegear, safety gearOne sample of that 5.11 jacket when i searched how it looks like. There are more variations available actually.

According to that website I mentioned up, this jacket is an outerwear that offers functional innovation and that allows one to reach his/her peak performance on duty with a perfect blend of tactical/practical functionality and traditional style. Whether one needs light coverage for mild weather or for more severe winters, lapolicegear has them too. Moreover if people on duty needs to be seen, there are also new high-visibility items, a waterproof parka, and a waterproof, insulated, reversible 5.11 Tactical jacket.

Now that I have seen how it looks, what is the purpose, and what are the variatins when i searched for the photos, now I know wh can use this and what is its importance in terms of smeone's safety.

Reserved Some Circus Tickets... Would You Like to Come and See with Me?

It is Herman Renz Circus and it is the/a National Circus of the Netherlands. I have to admit I have never been to a real circus before because I have never seen that happening where I grew up. And I STRONGLY DISAGREE that circus are for kids alone... There are those kids at heart and kids with looks like me.. ^^

It was drizzling a bit when I went to reserve the tickets but when I passed by this canal, I just want to remeber this day. It doesn't look too bad after all...although the sky is so gloomy. That is the ambiance here more of the time... that is an unedited photo.

I Am So Exhausted and So Productive This Week

exhausted, career, personal, exhausted but happyOh My! Hello blog. I have abandoned you for quite a few days. I have actually been preparing some posts for you but there was no way to finish them with my curent schedule. A lot of people have been calling me lately and I just had 3 recent interviews and another three to come next week... As scheduled, 3 are coming but two have already conflicted and I have to frop one and take my preference. Moreover, more might be scheduled next week so I better get ready my gear.

I feel that my profession here and my personality fits the work environment but I still have to work hard for it. I just need to play my cards good. My profile has been good already and I have crossed two interviews already. But here, interviews are so much before some notable international companies take a candidate. They better be very sure of that person! Whew! Very very very thorough. They have to do a lot of tests!

My recent interview made me think so much. I was given the following to answer, which, I see that my answer determines both the fact that I CAN or CANNOT answer the question and based from my answers, my personality is viewed:

1. At least 15 situational cases where I was asked of my opinion, or what do I do, what will I do.. My streetsmartass had to work had to use my smartypants to get through that part! Darn!

2. Can you imagine telling what you see around before getting in the interview room just to know if you have been "paying attention to details"??? Eiw! I had to do that, describe things as if I had photographic memory... and of course I was not prepared for this to happen. It was just good that I had a bit of memory with me..

3. It is good that I am in front of computer screen most of the time. I was asked a lot of things about one application which maybe, if you are familiar, the application that accountants should have... and the questions were not easy huh! I had to draw a screen in my mind that time.

4. I can say it was an ultimate test, nothing more. They had to determine if a candidate has both the profile and the attitude and especially if has the "skills"! It cannot be all words and answers. It has to be application of knowledge.

I am just glad. That was the second portion of the series of interviews and I was advised that if I can, better give time for my next weeks schedule. hat means a third interview is coming. Sigh... It is NEVER easy. If I can hurdle one obstacle, obstacle 2 is waiting to crush me! After hurdling 2, obstacle three might chop me to pieces. That is tough! I am forcing my fighting spirit to be alive and strong. I have a part time job to run to after or before some interviews and I really have to be fully loaded to do alot of things...

That is why my blog, I was not able to feed you with entries for days. Hope we succeed.

Sometimes We Can Just Be Caught Unprepared

I see the bad side of being so outspoken at times. One thing is that people hate you because they do not have the same guts as you have and the second is being caught unprepared. To understand the second scenario, consider the following experience:

It was one of the fine sundays in a place where i frequent every Sunday. In fact, there was an  event in that place that time. There is always an event in that place but that Sunday, aside from the regular event, there was also a special event. I was part of both.

unprepared, shy, outspoken, embarrassment, contemplation, stories, story, personal story, personal experience, life

The special and regular events went together for quite an hour or an hour and a half while the special event, lasted before, during and even an hour or two, after the regular event. I was there attending  people who inquired about the special event group where I belong.. We were busy promoting, explaining and looking around on other groups' works and presentations as well.

Around 30 minutes before the special event ended, and we were like preparing all the stuffs for presentation purposes (to keep or throw or take home, etc), there was a group of 4 people having a difficult conversation just in front of our post. Excuse me but I had to butt in! Promise!I just had to. Why? I just could not stand there difficulty understanding each other in front of me!

"Do you need translation?" I said. The four sets of eyes looked at me strangely because the language is supposed to be NOT mine. It was one of the European languages and I looked (maybe 200%) Asian! But what can they do? They were really staggering in that conversation without understanding each other and I just could not stand it. And so I translated for both parties. I translate till they get what each other meant.

That was it. After translating with a jolly face, happy and excited for being a translator for some short moments and it was promptuo, I was wearing a happy jolly face as I am. Just after the translation work I discovered I was translating for the parents of a person who committed suicide during the Christmas season. And I was so embarrassed the way I was. So jolly, so smily and all that. If you read till here, now you know the second reason I mentioned up.
