Gardening Challenge

Choosing a house to rent near one's work place is a good decision. I see that. Biking to work for less than five minutes and running to work 3 mornings a week is a healthy thing. Moreover, waking up just an hour before office time starts is really very possible and for those who love to sleep, the vicinity would be really a blessing. I chose this house primarily based on work as I also transferred place and relocated because of work, so, why not live near that work, right?. However, I rented the house not furnished and it's a 3-floor uilding with a garden of at least 200 sq. meters. Since I was only having a week before my work starts to put everything in place, I have to say that am really struggling to put stuff into place. Maintaining a house is a big responsibility! Yes, now I know. When I worked in Makati Philippines, I shared a condominium unit with friends and we hired a house help so that stuff would be lighter for us. When I lived in Italy, all were set and I need not worry for anything regarding house and living. But now here in Netherlands, I bet I need to do all.

The garden that is here, in the house we rent, and we are only two souls here, is around 200 meter squared. Only to mow the grass is already an effort for me. Indeed it is beautiful and it's a wonderful feeling to garden and to stay in the garden when it's done but it really takes time. I have a full time job so it's really a challenge.

gardening, incomplete garden, big garden, gaeden challenge
I expect this to be done before Tuesday.. As today is holiday, I just hope I can d it all... Sigh.. such a work!

Aside from the garden, the house itself is 3 floors which makes me run up and down just to make stuff o clean stuff. Now I know how it is to start with big house alone. It's really heavy!

Good luck with your brilliant plan! Can't wait to see when it's all done!

You do need something pleasing to relax in, amidst your hectic life overseas.

Take care!
