Gardening Challenge

Choosing a house to rent near one's work place is a good decision. I see that. Biking to work for less than five minutes and running to work 3 mornings a week is a healthy thing. Moreover, waking up just an hour before office time starts is really very possible and for those who love to sleep, the vicinity would be really a blessing. I chose this house primarily based on work as I also transferred place and relocated because of work, so, why not live near that work, right?. However, I rented the house not furnished and it's a 3-floor uilding with a garden of at least 200 sq. meters. Since I was only having a week before my work starts to put everything in place, I have to say that am really struggling to put stuff into place. Maintaining a house is a big responsibility! Yes, now I know. When I worked in Makati Philippines, I shared a condominium unit with friends and we hired a house help so that stuff would be lighter for us. When I lived in Italy, all were set and I need not worry for anything regarding house and living. But now here in Netherlands, I bet I need to do all.

The garden that is here, in the house we rent, and we are only two souls here, is around 200 meter squared. Only to mow the grass is already an effort for me. Indeed it is beautiful and it's a wonderful feeling to garden and to stay in the garden when it's done but it really takes time. I have a full time job so it's really a challenge.

gardening, incomplete garden, big garden, gaeden challenge
I expect this to be done before Tuesday.. As today is holiday, I just hope I can d it all... Sigh.. such a work!

Aside from the garden, the house itself is 3 floors which makes me run up and down just to make stuff o clean stuff. Now I know how it is to start with big house alone. It's really heavy!

Online Survey: An Offline But Online-Related Story

online survey,business surveys

Director: I am convinced that a balance scorecard is very useful for the company. But how do we see the scorecard if we don’t know what are the sentiments of our employees and customers as well as suppliers?

Manager: We need to hold a survey. But how can we do that for our department? We are finance people and surveying people’s sentiments were none of our studied areas.

Director: Let’s call one of your Assistant Accountants. I heard she has a wide knowledge on a variety of online applications, be it blogging, studying, business or leisure..

That was the conversation of the two bosses. I was the Assiatnat Accountant. When I met the two of them, I explained that all they need is Inquisite. They were surprise with the name and they both thought I was joking.

Maybe you are thinking the same thing. I am not actually joking. I advised the two of them to hold the survey online. Inquisite is perfect for Online Survey giving convenience to the process itself and it’s also very convenient on the side of the participants: suppliers, customers, employees, etcetera.

When I Wander Is a Year Old!

This blog is turning a year old this June. Sadly, I am not like those bloggers who have time to put up contests. Contests is really a big responsibility and requires a lot of time. I just don't have any idea how to celebrate this domain's anniversary and appreciate the good things I received since buying the domain. Having this personal blog, aside from my Web related blog, my writing blog and other blogs, is a great thing.
What do you think? What should I do to have this blog's anniversary meaningful? Your ideas will be highly appreciated.

My Choice in Web Hosting: The WebHosting Geeks!

web hostingweb hosting geekbest in web hosting
I am not paying hosting this blog with a fee yet... but if I do, I have found my choice already. Obviously, I am still with the free hosting blogger platform. However, with my blog buddy, hosting this blog with a paid host is always an open option and of course, that too gives more opportunity to this blog if in case. Why? Isn't it obvious enough that most of us, if not all, actually want more flexibility and independence in our websites and blogs?

With this dream in mind, and I know you do have this dream too, I want to share one of the cool sites around providing hosting to those lots of us who want the web hosting, which i can tell is also cheap or affordable. But if you don't want it cheap or affordable, Buddy, you also allowed to have a lot more flexibilities at Webhosting Geeks' cool hosting categories.
These are the samples:
Isn't Webhosting Geeks great, providing all those classifications? I suggest you take a peek at the site too and see what cheap and wonderful hosting-related stuffs and services it offers

New Work, New Transportation: Cycling to Work!

I have a new job. Previous job's contract has ended on the 8th of May. My new job started on the 11th which makes no time in between, However, there are changes: The city where my old job was in the Hague, and now am in Gelderland. It's more than a hundred kilometers away apart and so I needed to relocate. The relocation was smooth and I am so glad to have found a house very near the work place.

Thus, I bought a small bike and started doing what the majority of the population in this country do: cycle. Here, since it is the lowlands, or Holland, or the Netherlands. I am so glad with this change: It's healthy, not suceptible to traffic jams, only five minutes cycling time and I pass by along the big canal where I always see ships passing by.

To better capture how it is to go to work, I'll be taking a few photos these days and add here. It's just fun to go cycling to work or to the grocery store: no expense and healthy. I love it!
