I am currently reading "The Matlock Paper" by Rober Ludlum. Ludlum is oneof my favorites and his books are just timeless for me. I just finished "The Osterman's Weekend" and it was also very exciting. I have read many books by him and it's a pity I don't have all the luxury of time to read even more as much as I want to. I will see what it will be after the ending and share my experience. For now, feel fee to see the plot.
The chosen individual is called James Barbous Matlock. Matlock is a Vietnam veteran and a University professor. He is Washington's choice to stop a wide-reaching conspiracy, an International drug trade but extends to crimes more than drugs. Matlock was given an undercover assignment destined to put Matlock's neck against the razor's edge of danger. And the faceless men in Washington don't care if it means Matlock's death or if it means savaging the woman Matlock loves. They care about just one thing: that Matlock is the perfect man for the job...for a reason that is disturbing, violent, and extremely deadly.

| International Reviews of the Matlock Paper by Robert Ludlum |
The Matlock Paper is the third suspense novel by Robert Ludlum, in which a solitary protagonist comes face to face with a massive criminal conspiracy.
Its protagonist, James Barbour Matlock, is an English professor in his 30s who is recruited by the Department of Justice to investigate a drug smuggling ring, led by a mysterious figure named "Nimrod." The novel is set at the fictitious Carlyle University in Connecticut, a thinly-disguised Wesleyan University in Middletown. Wikipedia
