Balcon Pot Glory: Fruity Cherry Tomatoes

I was so surprised today and excited at the same time when Amò exclaimed, "the first tomatoes are born" (he actually told in Italian and I translated literally) as he cleaned the glass door to the balkon. I ran outside and saw this twin super red cherry tomatoes! Wow! I never expected that! I actually thought the tomatoes were dying because of their unhealthy aura. Coincidence enough, my colleague gave me tips on having tomatoes grow fruits and not only flowers but I did not follow such advise thinking that these potted plants will eventually die anyway... But I was WRONG! I am so happy, there's a fruity plant in the pot outside

I examined the plant closely and discovered more fruits to come! Wow! are not that bad with plants then. Thanks to my friend-colleague-neighbor and fellow blogger who gave me these plants as gifts...
And here are my fruity tomato plant with the twin ripe fruits (already difgested...so quick huh!)..:=)
Can't wait for them to ripen...
More fruits coming their way to ripeness

It's always a nice thing to see when you plants flower and then the tomato shows up. Nice shot. Regarding your question, that statue on my blog is life size and much more beautiful in person.
